What you don't get to see: Behind the scene at a press conference

That's what I do. I work behind the scenes and (try to) make things happen on the news and for my client. People think PR is pretty glamorous, well... I guess depending on your client type, it could be. But with more corporate clients (and I work with mostly these), you do a lot more strategic and often 'silent' work. It's usually madness before any event and then when the event happens, you stand in the wings and make sure all goes as plan for your client - the 'star'. And don't get me wrong. I love what I do. And I think I'm lucky to love it (most of the time - better make that disclaimer, just in case!).

One event down, one more to go early next week. Ps. This week is pretty crazy. :S
