Don't you just love Ikea? I think it's cheap, chic and good - the most famous of Scandinavian / Swedish brands. K (as with many others) says some of the wooden furniture ain't too good - his old table caved in with too many stuff sitting on top of it. But for its price, I think if it can last me a good few years and if the fault isn't sore sight, then Ikea is still fab. I love its simple clean designs.
We went by Ikea a couple of times, looking for some basic design ideas like flowerpot lamps and large ball lighting for the kitchen, toilets and patio. Great money savers and fabulous designs don't you think? Sadly these weren't on sale.

Tough to shop with Claire.
Although sometimes it's comical to see how she entertains herself.
We spent $5k this weekend on a dining table and a tv console. I'll keep mum on the actual designs but the sale was really very good. The prices we paid were after almost 40% discount!
For those of you who don't know of Air, it's a lovely Singapore brand that has made quite a name for itself and is now in various furniture fairs all over the globe and has also won a couple of awards. Google up for their designs or check out their flagship store at 28 Wilkie Road.
