Today I was disappointed with the young staff who altogether 'disappeared' and fell sick on me.
Today I had lunch on my own and enjoyed some quiet time to myself (plus some people watching). Until my sis-in-law arrived and shared the rest of lunch with me.
Today I bought a book to jot down my expenditure and store my receipts and I spent money on two interior design magazines and a paint book for Claire.
Today I got upset with K because he forgot he was supposed to meet me. Today I was thankful he helped with the ironing, and I didn't even ask him to.
Today I wrote an email to the head of Citibank, the MD to provide feedback about the disappointment service I received as a customer (it's so bad I've cancelled my credit cards, bank account and home loan) and was surprised he personally wrote back. Didn't make it all better though.
Today I did my 'secret thang' - which I will hopefully share soon about.
Today I found an online UK retailer with a great quote for the wallpaper rolls I was lusting over and got it at least 30% cheaper than if I got it at a store in Singapore.
Today I snuggled under the sheets with my baby, trying to get her to sleep and was happy to hear her offer to pray for me. Dear God thank You for 'bessing' Mama'.
Today I am happy because I know I'm blessed.
