After I typed out the title of this post, I tried looking for a post past that was something similar and somehow I can't seem to find it. But I do remember saying it at some point that I wanted to be the 'Superwoman' who did it all.
And now at the end of imaginably the longest week possible for me, I'm feeling drained and my neck is aching at every turn. I can't describe how my body is feeling even. So my week - it's been work, house, claire, work, house, claire and you get the cycle. However I must add that I barely had time to even take a drink when I'm in the office or at the new house.
I'm off to Germany tomorrow night and as it is with work trips, there are a million and one preparations and other considerations for other client accounts as well as to make sure the team knows what to do while I'm gone. PS. I don't foresee much of leisure time, so don't congratulate me on this bit. I'm still working, on a saturday morning as I type - just wanted to banter on my 'quiet' blog.
The house thankfully seems to be going better as planned. And I'm sure it's because I'm down at the house to show face and monitor the progress everyday. I still need to go grab more tiles at Balestier and bring to the new house. Chore.
K is, as I type, in Bintan - golfing and getting pally with the big bosses. He has to do the usual entertaining thing since this is his first week at his new job and his big bosses are in town. My saving grace is Claire has been relatively obedient and easy - thanks to my parents and the TV. Argh. Story for another day.
Thanks for hearing the banter. Now it's back to work. I think I deserve to be called 'Superwoman', just with a painful neck ache. How glam.
I see the similarities once more! My hubs is in Taiwan now, pally bosses too! only diff, it's potential future bosses. I'm skeptical, but have to act supportive. Then after he's back for less than a wk, he'd be flying to Perth to golf. Thanks for leaving everything else to me!
ReplyDeleteI Too wanna be superwoman but today i was overwhelmed by things n met with my first freaking minor but disturbing accident in my entire 12 yrs of driving! M in a bit of disarray now coz I duno what's the outcome. Can only pray hard that all will be well. *sigh*
Ok, so much for rambling. Have a safe trip to Germany. Take more pictures at the very least :)
