At K's cousin's wedding - where she was flower girl for the first time
Someone recently commented that she's looking a lot more like me and a little less like her dad. People closer say her personality's very much more like mine. Well it's quite amazing seeing how your own child develops in terms of character, habits, likes and dislikes and even more amazing how she's made in a similar mould to me. The good and the bad.
Earlier I blogged about how mindful I ought to be in terms of my action and speech (and yes she definitely has picked up some) but more interestingly is how she's so much like me in terms of the little things. A mini-me. Yikes! And I list the few that stick out like a sore thumb:
We both start to hiccup when we laugh too hard
We're both animated and outspoken
We love to sing and catch on to tunes pretty quickly
We're both impatient and stubborn and can not sit still
We're somewhat vain - I feel that one come on strong. Ha.
We both are needy and sticky and hate to be alone
The one rather cute thing that Claire inherited from her dad - perspiring on the nose. Hopefully waterproof make-up works on her in future.
